Falconry Fridays at the Fleet Air Arm Museum
Every Friday throughout August, join Pitcombe Rock Falconry at the Museum to learn about how birds of prey fly, and how our aircraft have taken inspiration from nature. See these majestic birds in flight at the flying displays at 11:30am and 1:30pm, in our Swordfish Centre. Every Monday throughout August, join Brick Ideas at the Fleet Air Arm Museum to build your own Fairey Barracuda. The museum is building a Fairey Barracuda from salvaged pieces from around the UK. Come and explore our bustling annual Christmas Market near Taunton in the heart of Somerset, featuring festive stalls bursting with beautiful locally-sourced gifts, delicious treats and unique hand-crafted items. We'll be selling festive food and drink including wonderfully crumbly mince pies, creamy hot chocolate, and homemade mulled wine. Christmas Fayre and Animal Blessing
We will be holding our annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 2nd December and Sunday 3rd December. We have a super collection of stalls featuring hand crafted goods, the tranquil setting of Ferne makes Christmas shopping a pleasure. Why not make a day of it and enjoy a meal at Nina’s. Frome Window Wanderland
A free community event that transforms Frome town into a walking art trail. The town comes alive as thousands of residents “wander”, discovering & celebrating each other’s lit up window displays.
