Just because we’re stuck indoors, doesn’t mean we can’t help raise awareness, and money and smiles! Wear A Hat Day is an annual fundraising event that raises vital funds and awareness for Brain Tumour Research and during these uncertain times, has taken the campaign online!
On 27th March, they are encouraging you to post social selfies wearing a hat or house hold object that can be turned into a hat and tagging @braintumourrsch #WearAHatDay, encourage everyone else to get involved online too!
Not got a hat? Don’t worry! plenty of social networks offer stickers and filters that you can add to your selfies! Facebook, Instagram Stories and SnapChat all offer this option! Or how about getting your pet to wear a hat instead if you’re a little camera shy?
If you join in, don’t forget to text HAT to 70450 to donate £5, HAT to 70490 to donate £10 or if you want to go higher, you can text HAT 15 or HAT 20 to 70490. Make sure to check with the bill payer before making a donation.
