3 stages of live music and dedicated kids tent
Sat in a Field is a small family friendly non-profit festival. The Site is near Cheddar, Somerset with a view of the Mendips in the background
This year sees the introduction of a new dance stage, The Foundry, with a mix of live acts and Djs from across the dance music spectrum.
Confirmed acts include From The Jam, Doctor and the Medics, Gaz Brookfield and The Company of Thieves, and more, with many more still to be announced.

Location
The Festival field is on the B3151 between Wedmore and Cheddar. The entrance to the festival is clearly marked by road signage as you approach the site. We have a different entrance this year to previous years so please exercise caution and reduce your speed as you draw near to the site. There will directions at the bottom of Notlake drove lane to the car park and stewards wearing high vis vest’s to guide you in.
If you are coming on the motorway then leave at junction 22, head towards Cheddar, once in Cheddar look for signs to Wedmore turning right onto the B3151
Go green! Car sharing is the way, we don’t want the field full of your dirty cars, share the love and get snuggling up on the backseat.
Camping & live in vehicles
There will be three camping areas this year, family camping, general camping and live in vehicles. There are toilets in each camping area as well as fire points and recycling bins.
We have limited space for camper-vans and caravans, so you will need to purchase a camper van ticket.
Every vehicle parking in the car park will need to display a car park ticket clearly in the window.These can be purchased from our ticket section. Camper-vans and live in vehicles do not need a car park ticket as the live in vehicle ticket price covers this.
