The Aardman studio is world renowned for the films and characters it has created, including the much-loved Wallace and Gromit – and the experts behind them are coming to Montacute House.
As part of ‘Get Inspired at Montacute House’, part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of Wallace and Gromit, you can get to grips with the unique world of model making in a fun, interactive workshop lead by the pros from the Aardman studio, including some who worked on The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
In these one hour sessions, you can shape your very own Gromit or Shaun the Sheep to take home. It is also the perfect opportunity to ask questions about the world of animation and what inspires these skilled model makers.
The first workshop is during the May half term (10.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm, 30 May), but they will also be taking place at the same times every Wednesday and Thursday during the summer holiday (31 July – 29 August).
The sessions are suitable for all ages, but it’s recommended that children under the age of 5 years are accompanied by an adult.
The workshop costs £10 person and booking is essential, normal admission also applies.
