If you’re looking for some Half Term family fun, then head down to The Bishop’s Palace in Wells this holiday for some autumnal-themed entertainment.
Beginning on Saturday 26th October* there will be a new Half Term Trail for children to collect from the Ticket Office which will run until 3rd November.
The trail is designed to encourage children to explore the range of trees around the site and to collect leaves of different types. When they’ve finished, there’s a sticker prize in the Shop!
On Tuesday 29th October, our popular Crafty Cats session in the Undercroft will be all about Autumn; children will be able to choose from a range of activities including making autumn leaf suncatchers, scarecrow hats and woolly autumn apples. The session runs from 10:30am-3pm, is included in admission and visitors can drop in any time.
On Thursday 31st October, families can head over to the Community Garden when our Nature Ninjas activities will be taking place. These will include making leaf wreaths, leafy masks and vibrant pastel leaf art.
