On December 14th make sure to wear your ugliest Christmas jumper to school or work for Christmas Jumper Day! In case you don’t know – Christmas Jumper Day is an annual event that helps raise money for Save the Children. It’s basically a celebration of ugly Christmas themed jumpers, while also helping fundraise for a good cause.
Schools and businesses can apply for a fundraising pack and encourage everyone to wear a Christmas themed jumper while donating £2, which then goes to Save the Children. Often schools and businesses add to the fun by including competitions and fun, festive games to really get you all in the Christmas spirit.
Last year’s event raised £4,391,821 and we’re sure we can help raise that this year! Is your school taking part in Christmas Jumper Day? We’d love to see your festive outfits – be sure to send pictures to email@example.com – we’ll feature our favourite ones in our next issue and online!
