The South West’s ultimate Christmas destination is set to return for another fun-filled festive winter season at the Tropicana on Weston Seafront.
Icescape @ The Tropicana will open its doors on 25 October 2019 – 5 January 2020. The iconic venue will be transformed once again into a winter wonderland, where family and friends will be able to skate on the UK’s largest covered winter ice rink, enjoy some delicious festive food and drinks, visit Santa’s Grotto and much more.
The rapid-freeze, real ice technology provides the ultimate skating experience for all to enjoy, whether you’re a complete beginner or skating’s next best thing, it’s the perfect day out. Skaters can take to the ice – come rain or shine – on the under-cover ice-rink which will be decorated with sparkly festive lights. After a 45-minute skating session, visitors can relax in the alpine themed Lodge Bar & Restaurant. The covered seating area provides the perfect setting for a well-deserved drink or some tasty food and has great views of the ice rink.
This year, brand new Disco Sessions are being launched on selected Friday evenings, so visitors can skate to the best disco tunes provided by a live resident DJ. Parent & Toddler and Quiet Sessions will continue after their success last year
Why not combine your ice-skating session with a trip to see Santa? Santa and his elves will be in his magical grotto on selected days from 30 November – 24 December 2019. Also, Pippen the Penguin will be back to see all his old pals and meet some new friends.
