Glastonbury Undead to rise again

Glastonbury Undead to rise again
Thanks to generous support through social media, the Glastonbury Undead will rise again. This year’s Zombie Walk will take place Saturday 20th October. Anyone can take part – If you need a hand getting zombie-ready, there will be face paints, old clothes and space to dress available at the King William, Marketplace from 4.00pm, along with flash-mob rehearsals.
The walk will kick off with the fabulous zombie flash-mob at 5pm, followed immediately by the High Street Invasion.

To take part in the flash-mob, like the Glastonbury Zombie Walk Facebook page to find details. Volunteers to help the undead with their make-overs, and keeping them in their containment zones, would also be welcomed.

The Glastonbury Zombie Walk is put on by local charity Children’s World. “We’re dead pleased that the community has risen to the challenge, and we look forward to seeing the High Street overrun with the shambling undead!” Director Kristen Lindop said. “Nnnng, mmmrrg nn gggh!” added co-director Paddy Hill before chomping on a suspicious looking lump of meat!
