FIRE & WATER! – Join the ‘Star Tugs’ from 1980s children’s TV and take a trip down memory lane!
Admire some of the original models from the TV series on their first outing to the Avon Valley Railway. Do you remember watching the series as a child? There will be model boats on display from Clevedon & District Model Boat Club too.
Also at Bitton will be a vintage fire engine ‘as seen on TV’! This impressive engine featured in the TV detective series Endeavour in several series including the most recent one on Channel 4. Operational demands permitting we’ll also be welcoming a modern Fire appliance from Kingswood Fire Station on the Saturday afternoon too.
Enjoy a trip onboard Bristol’s historic fire-boat ‘Pyronaut’ which will be joining us for this special weekend offering short trips on the River Avon at the end of the line (small extra charge applies).
Plus of course our normal steam and diesel services will be in operation too.
