Can you put a feather in your cap by solving this American clothing family fun trail?
Hidden in the garden are pieces of famous clothing that tell the story of America.
Put on your detective Fedora (invented in America) and sleuth out those clues for a prize- just don’t be a fashion victim!
Trail suitable for ages 6+.
Last trail issued at 4pm.
£2.50 per trail (includes prize). Normal admission applies.
Orangery Café and Terrace – During museum opening times
Tea/coffee/cookies served 10.00am – 5.00pm.
Light lunches served 12-2pm
Service is from the counter. There is a range of home-made food, the majority of which is made from American recipes; including Snickerdoodles, cowboy cookies and brownies.
Seating is available in the Café or on the Terrace. Highchairs are available. We also have an undercover picnic area.
Young children might like to try one of our lunch boxes, or a small portion of our hot and cold lunch food. We have a range of cold drinks and ice creams. For those colder days, hot chocolate with marshmallows or babychino.
