This October Half Term, The Galleries Shopping Centre, Bristol is inviting parents to bring their wannabe wizards to enrol at their Spectacular School of Sorcery for FREE Halloween fun!
The event runs from 11am – 4pm, on Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st October and will see the centre transform into a wondrous wizard school, complete with magical music to die for and a spooky wizard classroom set with broomsticks-a-plenty and Epico the dragon, who will be closely guarding the giant dragon eggs.
On Tuesday 30th October ‘students’ will be joined by Good Witch Gertrude and Naughty Wizard Wilfred to make their own magic wand in the wicked craft workshop. They will then be taught how to ride a broomstick and how to train a dragon by the pros. Their wand waving skills will be put to the test with Epico – The Galleries’ very own resident walking, roaring dragon and there will be certificates for all who make the grade.
On Wednesday 31st October, Good Witch Gertrude and Naughty Wizard Wilfred are back to make mini wizards in the craft workshops and teach the kids the most essential witch and wizard dragon training spells. Plus would-be witches and wizards can enjoy broomstick races and dress up in a range of costumes to get into the spirit of Halloween. There will also be more chances to meet Epico and make him roar!
Plus, On Thursday 1st November, The Galleries’ Brizzle Kidz Clubhouse will be hosting an awesome FREE mermaid and monster slime making workshop, perfect for the little ones who love to get creative! Suitable for ages 4 and over. The Brizzle Kidz Clubhouse is located on the ground floor near Eurochange and Celebrations.
This event is the latest in a long line up of events run by The Galleries for their new kids club – The Brizzle Kidz. All events run completely FREE of charge and offer families some great entertainment during school holidays to celebrate key seasonal occasions.
Colin Lang, Centre Manager, The Galleries said: “We’re really excited about our ‘School of Sorcery – Halloween is such a big occasion now, with all generations embracing the spirit, so it is great to be able to put on an event that engages and entertains our youngest customers.”
