Date set for next Keynsham Area Forum

Members of the public are invited to attend the next Keynsham Area Forum meeting.

The Connecting Communities Forums bring together local community and voluntary organisations with Parish and Town Councils and representatives from Bath & North East Somerset Council.

Meetings are also open to the public and provide an opportunity to hear about issues that matter most to the local community, ask questions and give feedback.

The Keynsham Area Forum will take place on Thursday 20 July, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm in the Community Space at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 1FS.

At the July Keynsham Area Forum, there will be updates from the police on local crime trends and from the Council on changes to the library service. There will also be a presentation from Saltford Business Association.

The main presentations will be on the theme of Health and Wellbeing. June Brassington from Keynsham and Saltford Dementia Action Alliance will be talking about the work of the organisation and there will be an opportunity to meet and hear from new local health care provider Virgin Care.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Anyone who wishes to submit a question for any of the organisations taking part, can contact Alison Wells on 01225 396 539 or e-mail Alison_wells@bathnes.gov.uk

The Keynsham Area Forum meeting on Monday 25 September will be organised by young people from Keynsham Now and on Thursday 30 November the Forum will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) where Council leaders will discuss its Budget.  The meetings will be held at the Community Space, Civic Centre, Keynsham at 6.30pm.
