Can you help Spider-Man Harry raise £50,000?

Six-year-old Harry St Ledger is a little superhero. He has a high-grade brain tumour. It’s incurable, the prognosis is extremely bleak and treatment options are very limited.
His parents, Cairan and Fiona, have set up a Just Giving appeal to raise money to help fund vital research into finding a cure for brain tumoursafter he was diagnosed. The aim is to raise £50,000 for Brain Tumour Research to help fund research into tumours and how they can be prevented.

Fiona explains: “We’ve launched our appeal to raise money so that we can help prevent families in the future from having to go through the same devastating experience.”

Harry is a massive Spider-Man fan and, for him, his superhero is real. He underwent six weeks of gruelling radiotherapy and had to wear a mesh mask so that the treatment was delivered with pinpoint accuracy. He chose to have his mask decorated with the face of his favourite superhero. On Friday 25th May, Harry returned to school after his treatment. Pupils at his school dressed up as their favourite superheroes to welcome him back, including his sister Emonie who dressed as her real-life hero: Harry.
