Unlike last year when Best Picture was almost awarded to the wrong film, this year’s Oscar’s ceremony went off without a hitch.
Winning titles included Disney Animation Coco, water based romance, The Shape of the Water, World War 2 dramas, The Darkest Hour and Dunkirk and The Silent Child, a short film made by ex-Hollyoaks actors and starring six year old Maisie Sly from Swindon. Maisie had never acted before, so it’s certainly a huge achievement!
For those of you who weren’t hardcore enough to stay up all night to watch the ceremony live, here’s a list this year’s winners.
