Spooky Spell Halloween Trail at Hestercombe
Vist us this October half-term and follow our Spooky Spells Halloween trail around the autumnal gardens.
The trail begins in our wizarding bookshop, at the entrance to the Georgian Landscape Garden. Behind the old, creaking door, you’ll find books stacked from floor to ceiling filled with spells and incantations. There might be a few spiders lurking in the dusty corners too.
From there you’ll walk through whispering woods, see ancient temples, enter the Witch’s Hut and walk beside the dark waters of the lake. All the while, you’ll need to look out for the scraps of a spell that you will need to piece together.
When your spell is complete and you’ve found your way out of the gardens, your reward will be a delicious chocolate frog. These have been made for us especially by local chocolatier Cocoa’s.
