Hanham Toddlers Pre School, which meets at Hanham Methodist Church in Chapel Road has been given an overall Good rating from Ofsted with some outstanding features.
The inspector said the effectiveness of leadership and management, along with the quality of the teaching, learning and assessment and the outcomes for the children were all Good. The top grade of Outstanding was given for personal development, behaviour and welfare.
The report says that children are very happy and their individual needs are met exceptionally well.
The preschool has been running since 1960 and is open on Monday to Friday during term time only, there are a range of sessions run by the 28 staff members with 144 children on the roll.
