Victorian explorers: Tyntesfield through time. Have you ever thought about how people in the past lived? Or what people in the future might think of the way we live today? On this kids-only day camp we invite children to see Tyntesfield through the eyes of its past visitors.
This day camp for 7-12 year olds invites children to see Tyntesfield through the eyes of its past visitors. The day includes a range of activities across the estate including growing and tasting food, clay modelling and taking part in some exciting games in the woodland.
Inspired by the commonplace book of Hannah More (1745-1833) in which she wrote about her time at Tyntesfield, the children will create their own diaries to document their summer adventure at Tyntesfield for future generations.
